Kim Maria Foundation

Acts of kindness, random and intentional, great and small, make an impact in this world. Kim was not only a talented mixed media artist that had a prosperous 10 year career, she left behind a legacy of joy, love and inspiration to all who knew and met her. 

The Kim Maria Foundation was
created to carry forward Kim's giving and generous nature to continue making a difference in her memory.

During her career as an artist, Kim donated a number of pieces to various causes and charities. She also served as a "Mom" to several foster dogs. Kim's beautiful and passionate spirit will live on in helping others.

What We Do

The mission of the Kim Maria Foundation is to raise money for causes and organizations that Kim supported. Each year we will host a creative fundraising project with proceeds to benefit a charity we select that year.

Light the Night Walk ~ Friday, September 24th at Delaware Park, Buffalo, NY

Thanks for your support on the National Spay Day Photo Contest 2010! 

Kim was passionate about animal rescue and no-kill shelter adoptions. We entered our dog Diva in this contest to celebrate the lives of pets and support raising funds for spaying and neutering. Your votes were donations to a worthy cause. In Kim's memory our lively Boston Terrier Diva came in the top 500 (out of thousands!) and helped the lives of many dogs and cats - Thank You!

Our First Event 2009

In Kim's memory, the Foundation hosted a silent auction on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Shannon Pub in Buffalo.

We raised over $2,100 with the proceeds benefiting the arts program for Gilda's Club Western New York.
